The fabric architecture of 7000 Series switches scales beyond 17 terabits per second (Tbps) and supports high-density 10 Gigabit, 40 Gigabit Ethernet, and 100 Gigabit Ethernet deployments. A single chassis supports up to 768 native 10-Gbps ports, 192 40-Gbps ports, and 96 100-Gbps ports.
